Welcome Back To Kauri!

Powhiri hoki te katoa! (welcome back!) This term in Kauri, we have a busy schedule on art, writing, reading, maths and many more interesting things! At the moment, we are all painting beautiful looking Paua, which inspired us by a Maori story of how Paua got so beautiful looking with their shiny gleam. We are all up to the stage on finishing the painting of the Paua. Here are the results!

These two terms for maths, Kowhai, Kahikatea and Kauri have swapped classes for maths. The teachers have been teaching all the classes different things to show them different ways to learn things. I now know alot more, thanks to Lorna!
